Ongoing: Monash Sim - a game for students, by students (final year project)
For my final year project, I teamed up with a group of like-minded peers to create a game centred around life and transport at Monash University.
Re-defining what it means to be a Monash student.
University life is often portrayed as flexible and exciting, but the stress of commuting, academic performance & social obligations can lead to burnout, disengagement, or a sense of isolation. We're taking the opportunity to create a light-hearted, relatable simulation game that allows students to explore, reflect on, and laugh at the complexities of university life to promote empathy, stress awareness, and community connection. This project will be completed by the end of 2025. Below: A slide from our project overview presentation.

PlatyPal: Monash Innovation Guarantee (MIG) x Commonwealth Bank
During the MIG, our team collaborated with Commonwealth Bank to create an innovative solution to make banking more accessible for non-native English-speakers.
Making banking more accessible to our community with tech and human-centred design.
During the MIG, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Commonwealth Bank to create an innovative solution to make banking technology more accessible for non-native English-speakers.
Driven by empathy and a genuine desire to understand our diverse target audience, we took the initiative to interview over 30 non-native English-speaking students about their personal experiences with banking. We also looked inward, drawing inspiration from our own multicultural and diverse team. For our final pitch, we showcased a relatable and authentic story: the daunting experience of navigating technology in a language that isn’t your own.
Our iterated, refined design process enabled us to craft an authentic storyboard and prototype for our pitch, ultimately earning us the Human-Centred Design Award.

Around the World: An EDI event for Monash Clayton campus residents
This event involved all the halls of Clayton campus, where each hall represented a country and offered snacks, activities and music. My role was to plan and promote the event.
Celebrating various cultures and identities in our community.
As a Central RA for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), I had the opportunity to organise the annual 'Around the World' event. I was tasked by my supervisor to improve and evolve the posters, marketing, and "passport" for this event.
Each hall represented a country and offered food and activities, and residents were free to roam around campus to collect stamps on their 'Passports'. We were delighted to see a great variety of countries with fantastic volunteer residents. The countries represented were Botswana, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Sweden, Hong Kong, USA, Nigeria, and Italy.
